Per Martinsen, Aggie Peterson and russian artist Sergey Suokas (aka Slow) were commissioned by the Tromsø International Film Festival 2009 to compose and perform a new soundtrack to Vsevolod Pudovkin’s silent movie “Mother” from 1926. An edited resumé of this performance with the new soundtrack can be found on YouTube, and the trio plans additional performances with the project later in the autumn. Watch this space for more.
